War Horse

War Horse is an
engrossing book about a young horse called Joey and a boy called
Albert. At first War Horse wasn't very popular because everyone
thought it would be the same as Black Beauty. Now it is really
popular just like Black Beauty. There is a theatre show and a movie.
Joey was
separated from his mother as a colt at auction. He was taken to a
farm where the farmer's nice son, Albert, took care of him. Joey
went to war. Albert made a promise to find him. They had lots of
adventures to find each other.
My favourite
character is Joey because he is courageous, hard-working and loyal. I
also liked Albert and Topthorn. My favourite part was the end because
it is happy.
I would
definitely recommend this book because it is very good and really
well written.
